Scott Sedar lives in Washington, DC and works as an artist in several capacities: painter, actor and artist/teacher. His work has been displayed at Art-o-matic, the bi-annual DC arts festival, private homes and local theatres. His training includes study with David Holt and Gerald Wartofski at American University, classes at the University of Denver and private study. He is grateful for the support of his wife and a number of families in the Friendship Heights area who encourage his efforts and buy his art.
While this representational show in oil paint suggests a realistic style, he also works in a more intuitive fashion with tempera paint, a medium for which he was honored as a young artist.
